Quick troubleshooting

  • If key detection feels unstable, try a section with less bleed, fewer count-ins, and more sustained harmony.
  • If a file will not import, confirm it is a standard format like mp3, wav, or m4a.
  • If recording permissions fail, check iPhone Settings and make sure JamKey has microphone access.
  • If Premium features do not unlock, verify the Apple ID subscription status in your device account settings.
  • For steadier reads, use at least 15 seconds of audio with a clear harmonic center when possible.

Helpful details

  • Tell us your device model and iOS version.
  • Mention whether you recorded live or uploaded a file.
  • Include a screenshot if you hit a visible error.
  • If one song or clip caused it, tell us which one.
